About Optimal Health

A wellness clinic from Newport, South Wales.

Small, independent, owner-operated. Three services, one clinic. Bloodwork from £59, IV drips from £120, consultations from free. That’s the menu.

I · Our approach

Bloodwork-first. Lifestyle-led.

We don’t prescribe. We don’t diagnose. We don’t treat disease. If what you need is medical care, we’ll tell you so and help you find it. Wellness is wellness; medicine is medicine.

Most pathways through Optimal Health begin with a blood panel and a sit-down to read it. Bloodwork is an imperfect but honest mirror — it tells you where you actually are, not where you imagine yourself to be.

The rest is lifestyle. Sleep, training, nutrition, stress, recovery. Unglamorous, and where the largest effects live. We won’t sell you a supplement stack you don’t need, or pretend a one-off IV drip changes your trajectory.

Test results are for information purposes only and are not intended for clinical diagnosis. If you have concerns about your health, please discuss them with your GP.

II · Behind the clinic

Built by people who’ve lived it.

Built by people who spent two decades on the wrong end of bad wellness advice. Expensive panels with no read-through. IV clinics chasing trends. “Optimisation” that meant buying more product. Optimal Health is what was missing.

We also operate Optimal Lab — sister brand, research-grade peptides. Same group, same aesthetic standard, same commitment to plain language. Nothing else shared.

III · What to expect

A short, clear path.

From first contact to follow-up, the experience is deliberately uncomplicated.

  1. 01

    Book

Pick a service or, if unsure, an initial review. Some appointments — such as bloodwork — take a £30 deposit to hold your slot, deducted from your balance; free consultations take none. We confirm within 24 hours.

  2. 02

    Visit

Phlebotomy or IV at the clinic; consultations in our consult room or by phone if that suits you. Unhurried, on time.

  3. 03

    Read

Results are returned with plain-English notes. You leave knowing what each marker means and what (if anything) to change.

  4. 04

    Hold

A short follow-up at eight to twelve weeks if it helps. Otherwise an annual baseline. We are not trying to keep you in a funnel.

Optimal Group

Optimal Health is a trading name of Optimal Group, the Newport parent company that also operates Optimal Lab. The two brands serve different audiences and run on separate infrastructure — an account on one does not carry to the other.
